St. Hyacinth Cemetery Statue Restoration Project- 2023

This was a substantial project due to it's size, but also the combination of materials. This arrangement was originally put together from various statues and each statue was made of different materials ranging from cast aluminum, concrete, and fiber glass, all made to mimic the appearance of solid marble. Restoration is half history, half art. Each project, we must untangle how and when it was made in order to revitalize it to it's former glory. We must get in the minds of the original artists and craftsmen, then it really begins.
